Disposing of waste materials is not as easy or as cheap as it once was. Not so long ago, it was standard practice to simply dump all our waste in landfill and forget about it. However, as our effect on the planet becomes more pronounced and we start to look to see how we can limit the damage that we do, we need to look for solutions to our waste management.

Such skip hire companies will return your full skip to their base where they will strip out the contents into separate metals, wood, glass, cloth, bricks and hardcore, earth and topsoil, etc. All on these materials are then stored and graded for future recycling.

These skip companies will not charge you more than a traditional skip hire company because they can make money from selling the recyclable waste, offsetting the extra labour costs of separating it. Up until recently our waste material has been quite literally going to waste, however it is good to know now that your waste is helping to sustain the health of the planet, rather than having the opposite effect.

Most families in the western world are used to separating their household waste for recycling, however it would not be practice or reasonable for them to have to separate their heavy duty waste as well, and so it is down to the better skip hire companies to take care of it for them.
