Escorted Cuba Tours
Cuba is a country that very few people know anything about because of the travel restrictions that were in place for so many years. Now the United States has lifted those restrictions, and Americans have permission to travel there. As a result, there are some exciting, small group Cuba tours available for tourists.
If you are a traveler who enjoys seeing new countries, you will enjoy a small group tour. You will not only be touring as a group, but individually, you’ll have the opportunity to do some sightseeing on your own. You can, also, choose to participate in some optional local activities at the same price the Cubans pay.
One of the biggest complaints of people who go on tours is that they do not have the opportunity to interact with the local people. The small group tours in Cuba are not that way. You will have a local Cuban tour guide, and most of your accommodations will be in the homes of Cuban families.
These tours are not luxurious, but everything is clean and comfortable. You won’t just have the opportunity to meet local Cubans, you will have the opportunity to really get to know your tour companions since the groups are small.
An example of a small group tour is the eight day Western Cuba Tour. The group size will be between two and twelve with the average size being seven. The arrival destination is the city of Havana. There are no activities planned for the first day so you can use the time to visit the city on your own.
You will visit two other places on this tour where you will have the opportunity to hike, explore caves, go bicycling, snorkel off one of Cuba’s best beaches and go horseback riding. You will be able to see Cuban wildlife as you travel. Every night will be spent in the home of a Cuban family. Day eight is similar to the first day. You may leave Cuba at whatever time is convenient for you.
These tours are a great way to relax and enjoy a visit to Cuba. Because the groups are small, you will make some lifelong friends as you travel together. Small group Cuba tours are an intriguing way to see Cuba as it is.

What Camping Equipment Do You Need?
The tent is the most important item to have for camping, but after buying one you will still need some other pieces of camping kit. If you are on a tight budget, there is no need to go out and buy the most expensive items of kit, and some of the cheaper gear can last a long time, especially if you don’t go camping very often. Some of the gear you will need to buy before you set out on your first trip is listed here:
Sleeping Bag - A sleeping bag isn’t essential if you are using your car to transport your gear, in which case you can use your bedding from home to get a good night’s sleep. If you are travelling light, you will need a sleeping bag and the best ones are filled with down. They are usually expensive but are warm and light. Sleeping bags filled with hollow synthetic fibre can be nearly as warm and light, and are normally cheaper than down-filled bags. Cheap sleeping bags are often only warm enough in Summer, so if you are planning to camp in any other season, you will probably need to spend a little more to get a thicker, warmer sleeping bag.
Insulating sleeping mats are very light and don’t take up much space. Place a mat under your sleeping bag to insulate it from the cold ground. They are also useful if you use an inflatable mattress, just lay the mat on the mattress before putting the sleeping bag on top.
Inflatable mattresses and self-inflating mats definitely make your time spent sleeping in the tent much more comfortable. You will need some means of inflating the inflatable mattress, either an electrically-operated pump (some are powered by car battery, others have their own batteries), or a foot-operated or hand-operated pump.
Unless you don’t mind cold food all of the trip, you will need a camping stove. They can be small single-burner stoves running off a tiny gas canister, large multi-burner stoves powered by large, heavy gas bottles or can be powered by a number of other fuels. If you are buying a small stove, check to see how stable it will be on uneven ground. With the weight of a pan of hot water on the burner, some stoves can become dangerously unstable.
Utensils for cooking and eating can be anything from a mess tin to cook in and eat from plus a spoon, up to matching cups, plates and cutlery. Don’t buy more than you need, and choose foods which either don’t need heating or ones which cook quickly, so you don’t waste fuel.
A torch (flashlight) is an essential item for night-time calls of nature and for putting your tent up in the dark when arriving late at the camp site.

A History Of New Holland Tractors For Farm Use
New Holland tractors are produced by a company that had its beginning in 1895 by Abram Zimmerman when he bought a small barn only large enough for one horse on the outer limits of New Holland, Pennsylvania. From his humble black smith shop, his company grew and by way of several mergers the company is now a worldwide leader in the production of farm equipment and tractors.
In Zimmerman’s early work to provide gasoline engines with blocks that would not crack during sub-freezing weather. Once he created this engine, it was used in many ways on farms that operated where electricity was not available. Zimmerman’s farm engine allowed washing machines, saws, rock crushers and butter churns to be powered without electricity.
The depression of the 1930s was a difficult time for New Holland. The farmers that had been their customers did not have the money for such luxury items and sales dropped. The financial outlook for the company became very bleak until the development of the first automatic hay baler that also tied the bales of hay. Some historians say that this development alone saved the company from extinction.
The Sperry electronics company purchased the company in 1947. The name was changed to Sperry New Holland. The growth of the company allowed them to obtain a large portion of a Belgium combine company.
New Holland produced lawn equipment until 1974. At that time the lawn equipment portion of the company was sold off to Ariens. Ford motor company, with their rich history of producing tractors purchased the New Holland line at about the same time. There was little overlap in the Ford products and the New Holland ones, so the merger was accomplished using complementing products with little duplication of products. Ford sold the New Holland portion of the company to Fiat later.
Through the various mergers and changes, the company also acquired a construction equipment division. The North American division of the construction equipment company was later sold, but in other places in the world, New Holland continues to produce this equipment and to be a leader in the production.
the company produces a wide variety of farm equipment in North America today. One of the main products in that line is tractors, but they also continue to produce haying equipment, crop production tools and implements for handling of materials.
While many New Holland tractors are very large and designed for use in large fields, the company also has a line of smaller tractors that may be perfect for the smaller scale farmer or rancher.
Today, the corporation is one of the leading farm machinery manufacturers in the world. While it ranks third in the United States, in Europe, parts of Latin America and Asia it is the leading supplier of this machinery. Today, Fiat New Holland is truly a world company.
The beginning of New Holland tractors was in a humble shop of a blacksmith in a converted one horse barn on the outskirts of New Holland, Pennsylvania during the late 1800s. As Mr. Zimmerman worked on that freeze free hit and miss gasoline engine, he may have never dreamed that the little company would be a world wide corporation only one hundred years later.

How To Make Sure Your Family Has A Fun And Safe Camping Trip
You could probably say that the pioneers were the first real American camping families. Pioneers could not stay at an inn or a motel because they did not have any where they were going. It was probably the greatest adventure of their lives even though there were hard times along the way, they probably had some really exciting and fun times during their trip as well. Camping families today are only seeking a little fun and adventure, not a new place to live.
Whether a family chooses to set up their tents where there will be other people or not is their own choice. Some families like to camp where they can be alone with themselves while others like the convenience of a well set up campground. There they will encounter other families and are able to take advantage of things like picnic tables, grills and the almighty bathrooms shared by everyone. There might be swimming options like a pool or a lake with a beach area.
If you are going further out on your own instead of a campground, there are things that you will definitely need to make the trip easier and safer. Every camping expedition needs a good first aid kit that holds plenty of medical supplies and a manual. If someone gets sick or hurt, you must have what you need at hand to handle the situation whether it is serious or not.
Having at least one lantern and fuel for it is essential. Firelight and flashlights will only illuminate a small area and being able to see well in a remote place is important for safety. There is likely to be spiders and even snakes that you will not want to stumble on accidentally. Take along chairs to sit in so you don’t have to sit on the ground where there will be more bugs than you want to encounter.
Having a camping stove on the trip is a great back up plan in case you are not able to get a fire started for some reason. Some people enjoy using a rotisserie or a grill to cook fish and other foods, but a camping stove is sometimes easier and more convenient in a pinch. You should cook any meat or fish well to avoid getting any kinds of stomach ailments that could ruin the trip. Always supervise children carefully even if you are at a campground. Accidents can happen suddenly and the only way you will have a fun camping trip is to have a safe one.
